Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe: Your Destination for Delicious Breakfast & Brunch in Ruidoso

The peach pie, it was soo peachy, was amazing, I forgot to take a pic at the beginning. Customer service was very friendly. Breakfast was great and dessert was amazing! Did not like the way the ordering was set up. It felt like I had to make a choice and decide before even being seated. That being said it will be the first restaurant I go to next time I stop by this town. So good.

Amazing breakfast spot! Everything was delicious, but the burger with Hatch chile is on another level — absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and cooked perfectly. The service was 5-star, super friendly and attentive. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area. I’ll be back for sure!

Excellent place to eat!! Was greeted by a very welcoming staff that 100% puts the work in! Simple order system so there is no wait, just right when you walk in! Had a Vietnamese coffee and eggs Benedict, coffee was amazing and so was the food, the yolk was slightly overdone! But that’s a very easy thing to happen with that specific dish! I wasn’t too worried about it cause the flavors and loaded potatoes were hitting in the best way possible Steve, the owner came over and thanked me for the business and we had a little chat! Wonderful guy! I let him know about the yolk and he instantly offered to make me a new one so it’d be perfect, I declined cause I was satisfied with my plate as it was! Good place to eat and an excellent environment!

Great place for breakfast, food was delicious, great presentation. Very cozy atmosphere. I gave it four stars because the Americano was not good to say the least.

This place was busy when we came. The line was out the door. The lady taking orders was overwhelmed. I could tell she was dealing with the line as well as to go orders. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server was wonderful and very polite. The food was better than the food at our hotel but not good enough to wait so long for it. When we eat here in the future we will probably just get a to go order.

11/9/25- Came here on a Sunday at about 930. Sat down right away. Staff attentive. Ordered the omelet with veggies and cheese. The potatoes were a little undercooked, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. The French toast was decent, but I'm just not a fan of a huge baguette piece of bread for French toast. The biscuit was good. Ambience is decent. I then got 2 chocolate chip cookies, the white chocolate pistachio color, and a cinnamon bun to go. The cookies were incredibly average. The cinnamon gun was loaded with glaze so that was good. It could is been a tad better with the quality of the dough that was used. Overall I would come back again.

This is a must when we're visiting Ruidoso. This morning we tried the forest fruits pie and the Mexican scramble. It was all delicious. And since it's my birthday I had a mimosa. Great too! Also, I love their very nutty coffee. My husband doesn't, but I do. He ate the carne adovada and eggs and loved it.

Once again, Aiden & Haile were fantabulous! Haile assisted my wife building her order according to her dietary restrictions. Aiden was very busy, but he & Amy made a point of stopping by our table. Emma was also very busy, but very attentive to our drinks. Another gold star for Emma was when we were parking. She was running across the parking lot after a male customer to give him his ballcap.
